Reinforcing Phenolic Resins:
Reinforcing phenolic resins include phenolic resins and modified phenolic resin. Modified resin has better compatibility with the rubber. Reinforcing resin can improve viscosity and plasticity, and can soften rubber before vulcanized, thus, it can improve processability. When vulcanized with methylene donator such as HEXA, it can form a three-dimensional network structure to penetrate into the rubbers. It can improve hardness, toughness, tearing resistance and has good reinforcing performance.

Resorcinol Formaldehyde Bonding Resins:
Belt compound is the main stress position of PCR tire. In the belt compound formulation, the bonding system is the key factor affect force between sizing material and all steel cord. Due to the low free resorcinol content, the resin can improve operating environment influenced by the sublimation of resorcinol in the mixing process, protect the health of operator and solve the resorcinol blooming problem on the material surface. Stress at definite elongation of compound decreases. Tensile and adhesive strength increases. Good bonding performance makes the adhesive strength between the material and fiber or wire much higher. Thus it can improve the durability of the tire.
